Access to Justice Network General legal information on a variety of topics. Covers federal and other provinces as well as B.C. law.
Law Students' Legal Advice Programme General information, including LSLAP manual for student advisors, which is very helpful for figuring out when you're over your head and what to do if you're not. Also contains a good selection of community resources for advocacy and non-legal assistance.
Best Guide to Canadian Legal Research "Best" is the website owner's name, not a value judgment. Nonetheless, this is a good research site, particularly for those who use quicklaw and are a tad boggled by boolean search terms.
Canadian Bar Association Dial-a-Law Transcripts of information tapes available at the CBA dial-a-law phone number. Wide range of topics covered. Usually gives you a brief overview of the issues and the law in a particular area, which is a good starting point.
Canlii Canadian Legal Information Institute. Aims to be your one stop shopping spot for Canadian Legal Information. An ambitious project by various Canadian and international law groups.
CLE BC Continuing Legal Education Society of B.C. Headlines are useful sound bites for keeping up with recent events. Not a starting point for research, though.

B.C. Superior Courts B.C. Supreme Court and Court of Appeal. Current Supreme Court judgments are posted daily, as are current Court of Appeal judgments.
Supreme Court of Canada In addition to information about the court, the S.C.R. reported judgments are on this site, indexed by hard-copy volume.

Staples McDannold Stewart Handbook for Municipal Councillors, articles and newsletters from a firm that specializes in municipal law. Very helpful and up to date.
City of Courtenay Council minutes, information about the various departments, bylaw and permit requirements, also discusses policies and procedures with respect to zoning and other issues. Very thorough and informative.
Town of Comox Same as above, only for Comox.
